Welcome to the Peace Corps Fellows Program at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø at 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, Columbia University!
Since 1985, we have supported the Jaffe Fellows, Returned Peace Corps Volunteers, as they become New York City public school teachers in high-need schools teaching English, science, mathematics, English as a second language, social studies as well as elementary, special and bilingual/ bicultural education while earning their master's degrees from 51³Ô¹ÏÍø, Columbia University.
Meet Our Current Fellows

Nathaniel, who grew up in Maryland and served in Cameroon, now teaches English.
Amanda, who grew up in California and served in Grenada and Saint Lucia, now teaches students with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism.
Nyna, who grew up in Ohio and served in Colombia, teaches English as a Second Language
Pablo, who grew up in Puerto Rico and served in Peru, teaches in Bilingual/Bicultural Education.
Peyton, who grew up in Ohio and served in Peru, now supports English language learners.
Sarah, born in South Korea, raised in Washington, and served in Lesotho, now teaches Math.
Tahmin, whose born in Japan, grew up in Los Angeles, and served in the Kyrgyz Republic, now teaches English language learners.
Beau, a California native, served in Colombia and teaches high school newcomers English.
Sofia is from Maine and served in Paraguay, she now teaches biology to NYC students.
Daniel grew up in Ohio, and after completing his PCF service in Madagascar he has come to NYC to teach high school Social Studies.
Matthew, who hails from California, served in Kosovo and now teachers high school Social Studies.
Ethan, whose hometown is in Massachusetts, served in Cambodia and now supports English language learners here in NYC.
David, originally from Minnesota, served in China and now teaches elementary special education.
Luke grew up in Chile, served in Cambodia, and now teaches high school mathematics.
